Instant KARMA: Rugby team “Stash Bash” Saturday

The Kenosha And Racine Mustache Association (KARMA) invites you to join its hirsute members for the 2nd annual KARMA Stash Bash Saturday, Dec. 1, starting at 6 p.m. This celebration of facial fur is a fundraiser to promote prostate cancer awareness.

"The UW-Parkside Rugby Club has sponsored and organized a 'Stash Bash' for years, under the KARMA acronym," said the team's coach and mentor Todd Streeter. "Last year, we were approached by downtown Racine businessmen to create a more official event, one that has a fundraising purpose."

Streeter said half of the proceeds will go to the Good Samaritan Fund, which provides medicine and treatment for local men diagnosed with prostate cancer. The other half of the proceeds will be donated to a Health Care Network fund dedicated to screening and preventing prostate cancer.

"This year's Stash Bash goal is to raise $7500 for the Health Care Network of Racine and we are well on our way," he added.
