Take the Test & Take Control
In honor of World AIDS Day, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Student Health and Counseling Center will have a table on the Student Center Bridge Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to give students information about HIV & AIDS. The first 100 students stopping at the table receive a voucher for a FREE HIV test.
Tests are done at the Student Health and Counseling Center on campus. They are private, confidential, and very simple: a small sample of blood drawn from the finger and you'll know your HIV status in 15 minutes.
The Center for Disease Control & Prevention recommends everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 be tested. For more information, call the Student Health and Counseling Center at 262-595-2366.
