Update: Strategic Initiative Requests

The Tuesday, Dec. 11, Ranger Today article generated a great deal of interest in the Integrated Resource Planning Process and the Strategic Initiative Requests. In response to questions regarding the requests, in particular a request for more detailed information about each of the requests, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) has developed an updated list of the 37 critical requests that includes a short synopsis of each request. The complete list is shown on the UW-Parkside web site.

It is important to note that of the 37 original requests, two of them, both of which are noted in the list, have been voluntarily rescinded and are no longer active. As a result, there are now 35 requests under consideration by the pilot Advisory Planning Group (APG).

Please let OIE know of any other questions you may have about the process or the requests. Or, contact one of your APG representatives for further information about the requests. APG members can provide detailed information regarding the requests or obtain additional information, if needed, from the individuals/departments that made the request.
