Wanted: Outstanding alumni award nominations

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Alumni Association (UWPAA) seeks nominations to honor distinguished graduates. The association will recognize outstanding professional achievements and exemplary volunteer service by graduates during commencement ceremonies to be held in May. The nomination deadline is Feb. 15, 2013.

UWPAA's Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award is given to graduates who have excelled in their professional lives. Nominees are evaluated on several criteria including leadership positions in professional societies and organizations, commitment to excellence and lifelong learning, and evidence of continued professional growth.  

The UW-Parkside Distinguished Service Award is presented to graduates who are outstanding contributors to their local communities and/or the university.

Nominators are asked to provide a letter of recommendation for their nominees, their own name, address, phone number, and email; and the name, address, phone number, and an email address of nominees. Nominees must hold a bachelor's or master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
