“Last Lecture” application deadline extended

What would you say? |
What if this was your "last chance"--the last time at the front of a classroom; the final time you address students? How would you answer the question: "What would I say?"
That's the premise of Last Lecture. And now you have more time to submit your application.
"The Last Lecture Series is intended to provide faculty and staff at UW-Parkside an opportunity," said Student Activities Coordinator Sarah Raidbard. "The opportunity is to inspire students, colleagues, and community members through a fictitious "last lecture."
Applications from prospective last lecturers are now due no later than Friday, Feb. 15. The lecture takes place Wednesday, April 24, during "Final Stretch Week." The person chosen as Last Lecturer is awarded a $200 honorarium and receives a commemorative plaque.
Apply to give the Last Lecture by printing out the application and submitting it to Student Activities. Or submit an application on Campus Connect by logging in, joining the Last Lecture organization page, and clicking on "forms."
