Share of division title at stake for women

There is a lot on the line for the Rangers when they face Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division nemesis Lewis University. A victory coupled with a Kentucky Wesleyan loss at Southern Indiana would give the UW-Parkside women and Coach Jenny Kenesie a share of their third straight division crown; a defeat could knock the Rangers out of the top four and force the team to play in the opening round of the GLVC Tournament on Sunday, March 3. For details, see the athletics web site.

Men need W for first 20-win season since 1987

The Great Lakes Valley Conference East Division champion University of Wisconsin-Parkside men's basketball team closes out the regular season Thursday night, making the short trek to Romeoville, Ill. to face Lewis University.

The Rangers are one win shy of their first 20-win campaign since the 1986-1987 season. That year, the Rangers were 22-8 under head coach Rees Johnson, the last of three-straight 20-win campaigns under his leadership. For more information, check the athletics web site.

The women tip off at 5:30 p.m.; the men at 8 p.m. For both games, there are live stats, video and audio available. Jim Kramer provides play-by-play of the game on the audio feed available online at wgtd.org.
