UW-Parkside United Way Campaign underway

UW-Parkside 2013 United Way campaign underway!

The 2013 University of Wisconsin-Parkside United Way campaign kicked off Wednesday, March 6.

"Our United Way Campaign theme 'UWP Cares' reflects the university's promise to our colleagues, our campus, and our communities," said UW-Parkside Chancellor Debbie Ford in an email to campus. "In the past year, there's a good chance that people you know?family, friends, neighbors, maybe even you?have been helped by one of the many organizations supported by the United Way."

Chancellor Ford urged campus colleagues to contribute online calling it a "secure, confidential system to support your decision to participate in the United Way Campaign." Those who prefer a paper pledge form can receive one by calling Connie Wheeler at extension 2314 or by contacting her at wheelerc@uwp.edu via email. Paper pledge forms have also been distributed to each university department.      

The chancellor added, "Please join the members of the university administration and your colleagues in showing how much UWP Cares by contributing to our 2013 United Way Campaign."
