Three events help you win “Wellness Challenge”
Okay, there's no such thing as "winning" the Ranger Wellness Challenge. However, by taking the challenge and learning to live a healthier lifestyle, everybody wins! And the perfect time to continue the learning process is with great programs coming up April 10, April 16, and April 17. Here's a preview of each:
"How to Stay Grounded in an Ungrounded World"
Wednesday, April 10, noon, Student Center Oak Room
An interactive open forum focusing on how the state of the world impacts your life and how you deal with it on a daily basis. Topics include breathing practices and breath awareness, how your food choices make a difference and impact your constitution, and other topics that create stress that destabilize us in life.
Movie/food demo: Forks Over Knives
Tuesday, April 16 at 5 p.m., Student Center Cinema/Brickstone Grill
Examine the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called "diseases of affluence" that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.
