2013 Spring Commencement Marshals announced
When Brassworks plays the first notes of "Pomp and Circumstance," a group of faculty and staff will be the center of attention at spring commencement Saturday, May 18. That group will be the marshals who lead students and faculty into the De Simone Gymnasium, seat the students, lead them to the stage for their diplomas, return them to their seats with their diplomas, and usher them to the next phase of their lives at the ceremony's end.
These august leaders are the commencement marshals and head marshal Lisa Marie Barber recently announced the names of those who will handle these important tasks. Led by morning Grand Marshal Jonathan Shailor and afternoon Grand Marshal Dennis Bayuzick, the following men and women will serve at the 10 a.m. and/or 2:30 ceremonies:
