The 2013 Nonprofit Leadership Conference is just around the corner, Tuesday, November 12. A special rate of $29 is available for all Parkside faculty, staff, and students to attend, so REGISTER TODAY!
This year's conference will feature keynote speaker Racine native Betsy Myers, author of Take the Lead: Motivate, Inspire and Bring Out the Best in Yourself and Everyone Around You (2011). Currently engaged as Founding Director of the Center for Women and Business at Bentley University, Myers served as a senior advisor to both Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign and to the Clinton Administration. As Executive Director of the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, she focused teaching and research around personal leadership. At the conference, she will speak on The New Paradigm of Leadership and its impact in the nonprofit and public sectors.
In addition to the keynote speech, the conference includes break-out sessions on topics ranging from fund development, staff coaching, financial management and more. Participants will also have time for networking and visiting our nonprofit Expo.
