Kettinger, Harris honored by MMAC

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is well represented on the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) Future 50. In addition to the university co-sponsoring the awards luncheon, two of our alumni will be honored during the ceremony.

James Kettinger, owner of Engendren Corporation (formerly IEA, Inc.), will receive the company's first Future 50 honor. Mike Harris, co-founder of Patina Solutions, will accept his firm's second Future 50 during festivities in September.

Kettinger ('80, Business & Administrative Science) recently completed the acquisition of IEA. Renamed Engendren, the company manufactures industrial radiators and enclosures for modular data centers. Kettinger's firm was featured in a Kenosha News article Sunday, July 15.

Harris ('82, Business) is best known for starting and building Jefferson Wells, an accounting and internal auditing company headquartered in Milwaukee. Patina Solutions provides project management, consulting, and mentoring services. This is the company's second Future 50 award.

Presented by MMAC's Council of Small Business Executives, the Future 50 program recognizes privately-owned companies in the seven-county Milwaukee region that have been in business for at least three years and have shown significant revenue and employment growth.

The 2012 Future 50 companies will be recognized by the MMAC and BizTimes Milwaukee at an awards luncheon Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Hyatt Hotel. Future 50 Luncheon sponsors include UW-Parkside, Park Bank, Findorff, and Northwestern Mutual.
