Q: Open campus computer? A: Check in your palm!

Need to use a computer on campus but are not sure where there's one available? The answer may be in the palm of your hand.

Campus Technology Services, in partnership with the UW-Parkside Library, now offers you the ability to see if there are computers available to use in the campus labs without actually going to the lab. It's possible to view the availability of these labs from any device that can access the Internet including tablets and phones.

Go online and see what's available. iOS users can place a web clip on their home screen which takes them directly to the site. The web clip is available by using the keyword CTS on the UW-Parkside website.  Then click on Learning Tech Center and iPad Resources. The web clip is at the bottom of the page.

"We are pretty excited about this," Chris Robaidek, Instructional Program Manager in the Learning Technology Center, "and think the students will like it and use it."

Robaidek went on to say the larger open labs are currently listed but more labs will be added soon.
