UW-Parkside hosts info. session on MLK Day Jan. 21

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside opens its doors to area students and adult learners on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Day, Monday, Jan. 21. From 9 a.m. to noon, those celebrating the holiday can get an inside look at the campus and explore academic programs, student housing and other points of interest. The campus is located at 900 Wood Rd., Kenosha.
Visitors to the MLK Day Information Session are asked to sign-in on campus between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. They then have the opportunity to tour the campus' academic buildings, the newly remodeled Sports and Activity Center, and take a look at student housing. Guests can also talk with UW-Parkside admission representatives and meet university students.
Spanish-speaking students and their families are invited to the Saturday, Feb. 16, Visit Day En Espanol. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. those attending can learn about:
- Benefits of going to college
- What it takes to be admitted
- How to be a successful student
- How to pay for college
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside also holds Saturday Information Sessions
Feb. 23, March 16, April 13, and May 4.
