Megan Mullen, Professor & Chair of Communication, and current UW-Parkside Wisconsin Teaching Scholar; and Claire Hicks, Lecturer of French/Modern Languages, and UW-Parkside Wisconsin Teaching Fellow, will present their Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research projects at the Office of Professional Instructional Development spring conference in Madison April 18-19. They also present their findings to the UW-Parkside campus community in the Student Center Hickory Room at noon on April 24. Wisconsin Teaching Scholars are outstanding tenured faculty and experienced academic staff; Wisconsin Teaching Fellows are outstanding early-career, untenured faculty and teaching academic staff. Candidates must be exceptional teachers who publicly share their expertise and demonstrate leadership. Each participant undertakes a significant SoTL project, records the project's progress on an electronic poster, and disseminates the results in public forums.
