January 2008 USACO Contest -

The January 2008 USACO Elite Competition starts on Friday Jan 11

The Elite competition divisions have different lengths for this contest:
Gold: FOUR hours
Silver: Three hours
Bronze: Three hours

The competition is available Friday, 11 January through the end of
Monday, 14 January in most timezones. Read the rules at the contest
site if you've never read them. Results will probably be available
on Thursday, January 17.

No special announcement about the results will be sent.

First-timers should consider doing the 'test' program from the USACO
training pages at http://train.usaco.org (to reinforce I/O skills)
before trying the real contest (really -- this is not an idle suggestion).
