Judy added the following about her father:

My Father, Eldon Boyd,  was our 1st principal of Hudson's Bay.  When he
left Vancouver he moved to Inglewood CA.  He was principal of Morningside High School until he retired.  He and my mother  took a retirement job as "Grandparents" for a wealthy family that had lost both their parents at a young age.  Since their children had no Grandparents, my parents were hired to live on the property and become Grandparents to their children. He retired from that job when he was 83 years old.  My Father past away 4 years ago. He loved life and all the kids that went through the schools where he was Principal.

Song: Moments To Remember

January to December
We'll have moments to remember

The New Year's Eve we did the town
The day we tore the goalpost down
We will have these moments to remember
The quiet walks, the noisy fun
The ballroom prize we almost won
We will have these moments to remember
Though summer turns to Winter
And the present disappears
The laughter we were glad to share
Will echo through the years
When other nights and other days
May find us gone our separate ways
We will have these moments to remember

The music was written by Robert Allen, the lyrics by Al Stillman.
The song was published in 1955.
