Welcome to the UW-Parkside Instructional Design Home Page.  It is designed to assist you in finding resources relevant to your teaching.  It is a mere fledgling at the moment, yet I am confident it will grow in response to your needs.  Part of this first effort is to share my collection of  Internet links which are organized by discipline.  I have also included some instructional design links.  If you know of web sites that could assist your colleagues please forward the URL to me and I will include them under your discipline.

about  a decade and have taught courses in physics, mathematics, and astronomy.  I have had the dual role of faculty and instructional designer for the past five years. I came to the UW-Parkside at the start of the Spring 2000 semester. "
Instructional what?"
Have you ever wondered, "What in the world is an Instructional Designer?".  The field of
instructional design is well established. If you have ever had to develop and implement a teaching unit or lesson plan you have already acted as an instructional designer.  It is my goal to discuss the changes in learning theories or instructional technologies that can assist UW-Parkside faculty in curricular development or modification.  It is my sincere hope that such efforts will result in a more stimulating learning environment for all parties involved.  No job is too small or too ...well we can talk about too big.  So peruse the site and hopefully you will find a jewel.. ...
