The Alan E. Guskin Center for

Community and Business Engagement

The Alan E. Guskin Center for Community and Business Engagement is a hub for experiential learning and a vital connection for those who put learning into action. By supporting programs that engage students in pressing community issues and substantial work, the CBE team helps faculty, staff, community partners, and employers to develop graduates who are active community members and leaders in business, government, and nonprofit organizations. CBE supports opportunities in community-based learning, internships, and campus employment for students while ensuring quality by promoting current best-practices. In addition, CBE leads campus Civic Action planning and implementation and facilitates Leadership Kenosha, developing local emerging leaders as community stewards.
