Grades and G.P.A.

How Do I View My Grades

You can see your grades in SOLAR. Once logged in, select Enrollment/View My Grades.  You will then need to select a term. Grades will appear in Official Grades tab. Transcripts or diplomas will not be issued if you have a financial hold on your account.

Grade Point Average

Your grade point average (GPA) is a measure of your academic achievement. Your GPA is calculated by dividing the total number of grade quality points you earn by the total number you attempted. The result, rounded off to two decimal places, is your GPA.You're required to maintain a 2.0 GPA to avoid academic probation or dismissal.

These grades are not included in the calculation of your GPA:

NG           Not graded  
NR           No report submitted (temporary)                                            
RT            Retaken  

Other Letter Grades Outside A-F

I – Incomplete
This indicates that you didn't complete all the work in a course and that the instructor has provided you an opportunity to complete the work after the term is finished.  The I will convert to an F if the work is not completed by the end of the next term..

W – Withdrawal
This means you withdrew from the course after the deadline date.

NR – No Report
This means a grade has not been reported. Contact your instructor about your grade. 

CR – Credit
This means you passed the course and earned the credits. The hours are not used in the calculation of your GPA.
