Lillian Trager Legacy Celebration

Date: October 26, 2017
Time: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Location: University Library

Lillian Trager dedicated over 30 years to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.  And she didn't stop there.  She worked for diversity and inclusivity in the local, regional, and national communities, as well as maintaining an incredible research effort in Nigeria.  She truly was a participatory scholar, engaging and improving the lives of so many people across continents.  This year, the University of Wisconsin- Parkside is creating a digital collection of Lillian Trager’s research and papers, and submitting a proposal for inclusion to the African Studies Collection at the University of Wisconsin Digital Collection Center.

UW-Parkside will be celebrating this on Thursday, October 26th at the University’s Library. All donations for the event will support the Lillian Trager Fellowship Fund, so that students in International Studies can carry Lillian’s legacy forward.
