THEATRE: Marjorie Prime, Fresh Ink Staged Reading

September 29, 2018

The Rita, Studio A

It’s the age of artificial intelligence, and 85-year-old Marjorie, a jumble of disparate, fading memories, has a handsome new companion programmed to feed the story of her life back to her. What would we remember, and what would we forget, if given the chance? In this richly spare, wondrous new play, explore the mysteries of human identity and the limits, if any, of what technology can replace.

Experience firsthand what is current and coming next in American Theatre as Parkside students perform plays so new the ink is still fresh. Presented as a free staged reading, these shows make cutting edge, contemporary theatre accessible and local.
