Position Title: Associate Director of Admissions
Employment Type: Full-time/exempt/Non-Instructional Academic Staff
Reports To: Shaun Keating, Executive Director of Enrollment Services.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $72,000
Essential Job Functions
The Associate Director of Admissions & New Student Services leads student recruitment efforts in support of achieving institutional, enrollment-related strategic goals. The Associate Director assists in the development and interpretation of operating policies and procedures, the establishment of enrollment targets, the defining and management of recruitment territories, and the implementation of a campus-wide strategic marketing and recruitment plan. The Associate Director manages the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office with direct supervision over the Admissions Counselors and Visitor Services Coordinator and oversight of the Operations Team.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Admissions, Enrollment, Orientation, Advising, or related field in a higher education setting.
- Experience supervising professional staff and ability to maintain effective professional working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels both with the campus community and with external constituents.
- Experience using a student information system (preferably PeopleSoft), document imaging software, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and projects for one’s self and the team.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
