Position Title: Administrative Specialist
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports To: Director of the Student Center
Full Time Pay Range: $50,000.00-55,000.00 annually
Job Summary: This position works under the general supervision of the Director of the Student Center and works closely with a variety of areas within the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services including but not limited to Campus Card Office, Campus Reservations, Housing and Residence Life, Student Engagement & Connections, Dining Services, and campus services such as ticketing, vending, bookstore, banking, laundry, and value transfer stations. This position also assists in the Campus Card Office and Campus Reservations through friendly and knowledgeable customer service and will assist in advising, training, and assisting student workers.
Essential Job Functions
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the Student Center Operations.
- Executes functions as they affect the operations of the numerous and complex organizational segments including review and improvement of such programs and processes.
- Plans, organizes, advises, and assists in cross checking the work of others engaged in performing administrative functions within the Student Center Operation.
- Supervises and recommends policy regarding administrative functions within the Student Center Operations in connection with compiling complex interpretive reports and summaries of statistical information.
- Recommends policy and determinations on fiscal, personnel and budgetary matters.
- Analyzes data and trends, compiles reports, and provides recommendations or conclusions in support of the Student Center Operations.
- Maintains and secures necessary files and records as established and maintains electronic and/or hard copy systems as needed and required.
- Act as point of contact between the Student Center Operations and various customers.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- At least three years of experience in an administrative support role
or
- Five years of related work experience in business administration or higher education
Salary and Benefits
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
