Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Employment Type: Full or part time – Exempt

Reports To: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to The Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources

Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00

Interprets, advises, and serves as an institutional consultative resource to colleges/divisions on talent acquisition strategies, policies, and procedures, statutes, and laws, to ensure compliance in accordance to policy and law. Serves as a point of contact to the campus community to attract, recruit, and retain a high-quality workforce.

The Human Resources Department is a dynamic, forward-thinking, and supportive function that promote employee and organizational excellence. The candidate for this position will have solid recruitment experience and be familiar with employment laws, include FLSA, equal opportunity employment, and Title IV.


Essential Job Functions
  • Serves as a consultative Human Resources recruitment resource and liaison
  • Builds and strengthens key institutional relationships and serves as a resource to internal and external stakeholders to identify, attract, and lead to hiring high-quality talent
  • Serves as a recruitment, assessment, and selection subject matter expert to interpret, advise, apply, and disseminate complex talent acquisition policies, procedures, and options to leadership and employees. Recommends best strategies according to established objectives and goals
  • Executes talent acquisition strategies that strengthen the institution's ability to attract and hire top talent and contributes to the development of strategic plans and implementation of talent outreach initiatives to be a leader in education
  • Audits human resources reports to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Designs, creates, maintains, and evaluates talent acquisition technology, resources, and training opportunities be used by the institution
  • Manages AA/EEO data and prepares annual AA/EEO report
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or the equivalent
  2. 3 years of prior recruiting experience
