Position Title: Vice Provost (Vice Provost for Academic Affairs)

The Vice Provost for Academic Affairs is responsible for overseeing offices and initiatives related to the academic success of students, the professional development of faculty, program array and assessment, institutional accreditation, and grants and research administration, and fiscal management.
Essential Job Functions
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Provode administrative supervision and coordination for Academic Affairs
- Serve as a leader or active participant on campus and extra-institutional initiatives to support student success, including persistence and retention of transfer student .
- Provide Support for Research and Creative Activity
- Respond to Faculty issues and Faculty & Staff development opportunities
- Support program and curricular development
- Oversee UW-Parkside’s Charter school authorizing relationship with the 21st Century Preparatory School.
- Serve as Provost’s designee on specific governance and administrative committees.
- Monitor the Provost office budget, including planning, projecting, and forecasting to ensure fiscal responsibility and support toward the university’s mission.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- PhD or terminal degree
- Tenured appointment on UW-Parkside Faculty
- Demonstrated successful academic experience and administrative service
Salary and Benefits
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
