Saving and Using a PowerPoint Template: Mac
1. Open the PowerPoint file in PowerPoint.
2. Click the File Menu and choose Save As.... Select PowerPoint Template (.potx) as the Format, and the folder to save the file will change to the "My Templates" folder.
3. To use the template for a new presentation, click the File menu in Powerpoint and choose New From Template.... This will open a new window. Choose My Templates from the Presentation Gallery dialog box. Select the template you want and click Choose.
4. When you insert additional new slides, you can use the "Slides" drop down menu on the "Home" menu bar to select the page style you want to insert.
