UW-Parkside Continuing Education offers a variety of certificate programs to suit your needs.  There are face to face certificates which highlight a more personal and collaborative atmosphere as well as a wide array of flexible online certificates.  For your convenience we have created a full listing of certificate programs in categories such as Behavioral Health, Career Development, Certificate Prep and Nonprofit Development. Nonprofit Professional Certificate Opportunities

Where there's a will, there's a way!  While we are no longer offering registration for the full Nonprofit Professional Certificate, you can still earn a certificate for each individual training topic.  Each certificate has earning potential toward the full Nonprofit Professional Certificate as future classes are offered!
The workshops focus on different aspects of managing nonprofits, building revenue strategies, proposal writing, marketing, and much more. Browse our list of course offerings and find the nonprofit training that best fits your needs, and the needs of your organization:

2018 Fund Development Certificate

This certificate has already begun, but you are still welcome and encouraged to sign up for individual modules. 

Help your organization meet its philanthropic goals and benefit from an in-depth understanding of effectrive fundraising through this highly interactive program that takes a practical approach to learning.  Apply your learning to case studies, exercises and discussion of your own experiences.

Tailor Your Learning Experience:  Select three modules in addition to three "*required" modules to earn the certificate. Six of the eight modules must be completed to receive the certificate.

3 required courses (which includes two mini bootcamps), and 3 selections of your choice.  Each module is 6 hours in length, 9:00am-3:00pm, on Fridays.  The two Bootcamps are two days; Day 1 (Thursday) - 9:00am-1:00pm and Day 2 (Friday) - 9:00am-3:00pm).  Module IV will be an 'online' course offering.
