WHY A UW-PARKSIDE MBA?

Our MBA Program is recognized for quality with accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. This represents the highest standard of achievement for business education with less than 5% of business schools worldwide meeting the rigorous AACSB accreditation standards. Also, it is important to note that the UW-Parkside MBA program is acknowledged as one of the most affordable AACSB accredited graduate business programs in the United States.

We are strategically located in the Chicago-Milwaukee corridor. Our alumni significantly contribute to the Wisconsin economy primarily in Racine and Kenosha counties, yet their influence extends throughout the Midwest region as well as across the country. Our accreditation, affordability, and strategic location combine to make choosing UW-Parkside's MBA program a sound, logical decision.

In addition to a regional focus, UW-Parkside has entered into an increasing number of exchange agreements with universities in countries around the world including China, India, Germany, Finland, Italy, Australia, France, and Russia helping to internationalize our classrooms and generate increasing global exposure. Thus, there are opportunities to study abroad in many countries, and also connect with international students and experts on campus. This is very important in the interconnected world of business, and equips our MBA alumni with experiences, global awareness, knowledge, and skills valued by many employers.

GREAT FLEXIBILITY

The UW-Parkside MBA Program can be completed in one and a half to two years. Students may choose to attend classes either part-time or full-time. You have the option to take a wide array of courses on campus and online while progressing at your own pace. Classes are offered year-round. There are two 7-week sessions during Fall and Spring semesters, and many MBA courses are offered in the Summer and Winterim (month of January) terms.

Our MBA Program requires a minimum of 32 credits. There are eight required 2-credit classes. In addition, a minimum of 16 credit electives are required. You are able to customize your own individualized program of graduate study by choosing electives that advance your career or are of particular interest to you. If you want to specialize in primarily one business discipline, you can choose classes that focus on fields such as General Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Human Resource Management. Students who do not have a Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline may also have to take foundation classes that are prerequisites for graduate business courses. For more information, please see the MBA Program Catalog.

AMAZING RESULTS

UW-Parkside MBA students and alumni are engaged in a wide range of responsible positions in various fields including sales, marketing, computer networks/systems, corporate finance, and global supply management. They also have managerial positions in many industries, companies, and nonprofit organizations. Our alumni have exceptional jobs in corporations such as Modine Manufacturing, Abbott Labs, SC Johnson, CNH Industrial, Northwestern Mutual, Uline, Aurora Healthcare, and Snap-On to cite just a few examples. Many MBA alumni are also very successful entrepreneurs and operate their own businesses.

INCREDIBLE AFFORDABILITY

The UW-Parkside MBA Program is recognized as one of the 50 most affordable graduate business programs in the United States, according to a national ranking of AACSB accredited MBA programs in the country. This is one of the major reasons why many students decide to enroll in our high quality program.
