About the Project

In today’s digital era, HR professionals are no longer just administrators—they are strategic business partners driving innovation and organizational success. This Community-Based Learning (CBL) Project engages undergraduate HRM students in exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming human resource management and shaping the future of work.

This symposium represents the culmination of a semester-long project. Through research, interviews with HR professionals, and applied analysis, students examine how AI is reshaping core HR practices, from recruitment and selection to training, performance management, and compensation, and develop strategic recommendations for organizations seeking to stay competitive in the digital age.

Format

Student presentations will include:

  • Strategic insights on how AI is changing key HR practices
  • Benefits, challenges, and ethical considerations of AI in HR
  • Real-world applications shared by HR professionals
  • Actionable recommendations for leveraging AI to strengthen organizational performance

Each team will present findings on one of five HR areas:

  • Recruitment
  • Selection
  • Training & Development
  • Performance Management
  • Compensation & Benefits

Presentations will be followed by Q&A sessions with students and faculty.
