Educator Professional Development Workshops

Foundations of Co-Teaching Training Workshop

Intended for UW-Parkside mentor teachers, this three-hour workshop introduces basics of co-teaching in the context of working with an undergraduate teacher candidate. Mentor teachers will learn the theory behind co-teaching, work in groups to practice co-teaching methods, and reflect on their practice with colleagues. A stipend is available for participants attending the training for the first time.

This workshop is required for all UW-Parkside mentor teachers. Mentor teachers must have at least three years of PK-12 teaching experience and at least one year of experience at their current place of employment. If you are interested in serving as a mentor teacher for one of our teacher candidates, please email Tracy Hribar at hribar@uwp.edu for more information!
