COVID-19 Vaccinator Initiative
UW System has announced a $500 tuition refund for the spring for eligible nursing or pharmacy students assisting with vaccination efforts in Wisconsin. Students who qualify must submit an employer form verifying eligible employment to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid by May 22.
- Must be enrolled in UW-Parkside Nursing Clinical Sequence
- Must work a minimum of 16 hours as a COVID-19 vaccinator from January 1, 2021 through May 22, 2021.
- Must have a current professional or nursing license with authorization to provide vaccination service, or coordinate with a Faculty Supervisor if not currently licensed
Do I have to be a Wisconsin resident to qualify?
No, but you must work in Wisconsin.
Do I have to be a nursing student to qualify?
Yes, only students in the Nursing Clinical Sequence meet the program eligibility criteria.
Do pre-nursing students qualify?
No, you must be in the professional major to qualify.

Yes, you can qualify for both for a max $1000 tuition credit.
