Biography
Prof. Peterson completed his BA in philosophy and English at the University of Iowa, his MA in English at the University of Toronto, and his PhD in philosophy at Northwestern University. His primary research interests are in epistemology and philosophy of mind. A fervent Chicago Cubs fan, many of the examples he uses in class involve the Cubs recent triumphs, much to the enjoyment of students who are Brewers, Cardinals, or White Sox fans.
