The purpose of the Art in the UW-Parkside Library program is to create a defined space for the students, staff and faculty of UW-Parkside to exhibit works of art and to foster creative activities within the library.
Each fall, the library hosts an exhibit made up of works from students, faculty and staff. A call for submission is sent out in mid-September and a reception is held during October.
For our spring exhibit, the gallery exhibits selections from the UW-Parkside Library's digital collections. Check back for this semester's collections!
Each summer the UW-Parkside librarians choose a theme. Recent exhibits have included WPA artists' work, historical bookplates, and university photographs.
