Getting Involved

Residence Hall Association

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is looking for students to join us in our weekly meetings each semester. You ask, what is RHA? RHA is very similar to student government, but it is specifically for students who live on-campus. RHA is involved in programming activities for residents, funding students to go to various conferences to meet other students who are involved in RHAs throughout the state and available to listen to any concerns that students may have about the residence halls. This is a great way to get involved and RHA is always looking for people to join the Executive Board! Information about meeting time and location will be posted in the residence halls and e-mailed to you!

The National Residence Hall Honorary

National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), Dr. Steve McLaughlin Chapter, is an honorary organization that is only open to students who live in the residence halls. Members are considered, once inducted, to be the Top 1% of residence hall leaders across the nation. NRHH is built on the foundation of the four pillars: leadership, recognition, scholastics and service. NRHH meets once a week and does various service and recognition activities throughout the semester. So, if you have a 2.5 GPA and are looking to get involved, you should join NRHH! Information about meeting time and location will be posted in the residence halls and e-mailed to you!
