Best thing about being a student at UW-P: The professors are well educated and truly care about the students.
Why did you pick UW-P? I picked Parkside because it is close enough to home that I can still see my family and friends on a regular basis and diverse enough I can make more friends from all over the world. There are endless opportunities at Parkside and I've always been a curious person so I love having so many options.
Best advice for getting the most out of college: Have faith in yourself, you don't have to have all the answers right now, just take it one step at a time and enjoy your time on campus. Everyone understands you are trying to make your impression on the world, we all are. So make the most of where you are right now and the pieces will fall into place as you go. Welcome opportunities and don't be afraid to meet new people or try new things. College is a completely new experience, work hard, do your best, but don't forget to have fun.
