Colleges/programs I support: I currently assist exploring/undecided students in meeting their academic advising needs. I also administer and interpret career assessments. I act as a liaison to the College of Natural Sciences. Additionally, I am involved with International Student Orientation, International Studies, and Study Abroad programs.
Hobbies: I love reading. I pretty much enjoy reading anything that provides me with new information. I also love shopping, especially jewelry shopping. I also love to travel, though I don't do it as much as I would like to. I have a weakness for anything sweet, so dessert is my favorite course.
Films: I love watching movies. Whether it's a suspense thriller, drama, comedy, romance, or foreign films, I love watching movies, as long as they are well made. Favorites include "Casablanca", "The Usual Suspects," "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle," "Casino Royale", and "Joyride" to name a few.
Books: My favorite classics would be The Count of Monte Cristo, Around the World in 80 days, A Tale of Two Cities. I grew up reading Sherlock Holmes, O Henry, Robin Cook, Frederick Forsyth, and Ruskin Bond.
Quotes that describe your advising philosophy: I love interacting with students and helping them reach their potential in a caring, nurturing environment. I truly believe that if you want it, you can make it happen and I am here to guide and support you through your journey! "Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently." – Henry Ford "If you can dream it, you can do it." – Walt Disney
