2015-2016 Campus Ambassador Team

Come visit campus and take a tour with one of our Campus Ambassadors!  During your tour, you will get to see our beautiful campus through a current student's perspective.  Our Campus Ambassadors will share their Parkside stories and what makes Parkside Real.Amazing to them.

Favorite Thing About Parkside: I love the people (students AND faculty/staff).  I've met some of my best friends here.
Favorite Place on Campus: I love the library; it's a good place to do pretty much anything.
Involvement on Campus: Campus Ambassador, Ranger Orientation, Advising, and Registration (ROAR) Leader, and Friendly Face on Campus
Advice for Incoming Students: Life is too short to take too seriously.  Laugh often and be a friend.

Favorite Thing about Parkside: I love the class sizes because you get a more personalized learning experienced.

Advice for Incoming Students: If you don't know something ask questions. Students, faculty, and staff are always willing to help out.

Favorite Thing About Parkside: I love the small classes and building relationships with professors!  I love everything that Parkside has to offer, especially the student organizations!
Favorite Place on Campus: I love hanging out in the Den.  There's really fun events that go on there and they make the best mango smoothies.
Involvement on Campus: Secretary of Zeta Sigma Chi Multicultural Sorority Incorporated and Campus Ambassador
Advice for incoming Students:  Get involved!  not only does it looks good in a resume but it's a lot of fun!

Favorite Thing about Parkside: The students and faculty.  The students because everyone is so approachable and the faculty because their passion and the ability to form close relationships.
Favorite Place on Campus: The library; it's the one place I will always have a quiet place to sit and get things done.
Involvement on Campus: Campus Ambassador, Pre-Health Club
Advice for Incoming Students:  Have fun!  Remember to make time for yourself; it's not all about studying.

Favorite Thing About Parkside: My favorite thing about Parkside are the professors, especially those in the sport management program.  They are all so knowledgeable and push their students to what they know we can achieve in class.  In the process, the professors love to assist us in finding internships within sports to better our career path.
Favorite Place on Campus: The Sports and Activity Center (SAC).  It's where I have class and I love going to basketball games.
Involvement on Campus: Campus Ambassador and Vice President of CRU- Campus Crusade for Christ
Advice for Incoming Students: Join student organizations!  Get involved!  A lot of what you will experience on campus will be with those you get involved with and grow close to.  And, being involved allows you to build skills that you will take with you after graduation!

Favorite Thing about Parkside: The staff and professors.  It's really cool to see how much the staff and professors care about students.  It's great to have people to support you and help you that have a lot of experience to share.
Favorite Place on Campus: The library- third floor, and Greenquist 101 Lecture Hall
Involvement on Campus: Campus Ambassador, Bookstore- Sale's Associate, Campus Ministry, Pre-Med Club, Chemistry Club
Advice for Incoming Students:  Always reach out to people, especially upper classmen.  Get involved as soon as you start your first day.  Stay humble and never give up.
