Professor Theresa Castor wins award!

Professor Theresa Castor received the Top Interactive Display award from the Organizational Communication division at the International Communication Association conference on May 24 for her paper titled, “ ‘Winter is coming’: Constituting the future of problem construction.” For this project, she analyzed weather forecast messages, and state and local government communication in preparation for a severe winter storm in the southeast U.S. to identify factors that contributed to disaster preparedness.
