RANGERS WIN, HOST GRAND VALLEY STATE FRIDAY

The third-ranked and top-seeded Rangers defeated Saginaw Valley State University 2-0 in an NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship second-round match Sunday at snowy Wood Road Field. Next up, the Rangers (18-0-3) return to the round of 16 for the fourth time in program history, also advancing to the Midwest Region Championship in 2008, 2010 and 2012, and host 11th-ranked Grand Valley State University on Friday, Nov. 21 at Wood Road Field.
