The English Department at UW-Parkside offers it all, from the fury of Thor's hammer to the sultry spice of Sandra Cisneros.

We provide three thrilling concentrations, including a (not so) Standard Major, a Writing Concentration, and a Language Arts Concentration. Throughout all three, our ingenious faculty provide expert guidance in literature, analysis, and writing. There are also plenty of opportunities to discover an application for your particular gifts, whether it be with The Ranger News, Straylight, or an independent internship.
