If you are a student on academic probation, Ranger ReFOCUS will provide you with the support you need so that you can focus on having a successful semester and regaining good academic standing. Along the way, you will build a strong relationship with the individuals that are here to support you on your journey and help you complete your degree.
GETTING STARTED IS SIMPLE

Accept your invitation to Ranger ReFOCUS in Canvas
2
Complete and submit the self-assessment in the first Canvas module by August 1st

Schedule an appointment with your success coach prior to the staff of the fall term
HOW WE CAN HELP
Ranger ReFOCUS will help you:
- Return to good academic standing (cumulative Parkside GPA 2.0 or higher)
- Build the skills you need to be successful at UW-Parkside
- Create sustainable relationships with various on-campus resources
WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE
The additional support you receive will hopefully help you return to good academic standing or at least get headed on the right path. Most students who take advantage of the support offered are abe to achieve this goal.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete the self assessment to identify areas of opportunity.
- Meet with your success coach before the next semester and four (4) times throughout the semester
- Make the advisors suggested changes in your academic schedule
- Complete the five (5) ReFOCUS modules in Canvas prior to your success coach meetings
- Attend all classes, complete assignments on time, use campus resources
- Respond to messages and appointment requests from your success coach and/or academic advisor
- Celebrate your success!
