Project Management Certificate
Project management has gained tremendous importance in the past few decades. In the current environment where many companies are outsourcing their business processes, the ability to manage complex projects involving diverse teams both domestically and internationally has become an increasingly desirable skill for employers nationwide.
The project management certificate, offered through Parkside’s business program which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business International (AACSB) provides you with enhanced project management skills and preparation to take the Project Management Professional examination.
The project management certificate program is also available in the Flexible Option format.

Essential Personal Skills for Project Management
Provides a background in personal skills essential for effective project management, including general intelligence, emotional intelligence, groups and teams, project leadership, stress, ethics, and communication.
Advanced Project Management Tools and Techniques
Covers advanced tools and technologies of project management, including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), budgeting a project, scheduling a project using PERT/CPM, allocating scarce resources, critical chain and critical path, resource leveling, monitoring the project costs, evaluating and terminating a project.
Project Management Simulation
Includes project scheduling, risk analysis, earned value, and teamwork. Applies project management skills to a simulated or live project, develop project justification and project plan, and execute the project plan and track performance.
