View Your Grades

You can see your grades in SOLAR. Once logged in, select Enrollment/View My Grades. You will then need to select a term. Grades will appear in Official Grades tab. Official grades typically appear in SOLAR about two weeks after the end of the term.

Transcript of Grades

Grades also appear on your transcript, which is a record from recent and past semesters. Current students can view their unofficial transcripts in SOLAR. Current and former students can request official transcripts. Transcripts or diplomas will not be issued if you have a financial hold on your account.

Dean’s List

To qualify for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate must complete at least 9 credits and earn a term grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Grade Requirements

Some majors require minimum grades for certain courses and to enter or earn the major. Be sure to consult with your advisor, your degree plan, and the academic catalog.

All Parkside students are required to maintain a 2.0 GPA to avoid academic probation or dismissal.

Privacy of Student Records

Students sometimes wonder if their grades are visible to their family. Generally speaking, your grades are not shared without your permission.

The distribution of your student information and records, including your grades, is governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Grades that are not A-F

Occasionally, you will see grades that are not the familiar A-F format. These unique grades each have a different meaning.
