We provide comprehensive support for current international students, from visa assistance to cultural adjustment, and empowering Parkside students to broaden their horizons through study abroad. International Student Services
Beginning with your arrival on campus, we will help international students with:
- Conducting International Student Orientation
- US Immigration F-1/J-1 visa services (travel permissions, visa updates)
- Permissions to work (Social Security cards, Internships, Post-graduation training programs).
- International insurance enrollment and information.
- Information about community and university resources.

Study Abroad
The Parkside Study Abroad Office helps you identify a study abroad program that fits you academically, financially and personally. There are study abroad opportunities that allow you to study for a few weeks in the summer or winterim or for a full semester program.
Parkside students should also explore National Student Exchange, which offers students the opportunity to complete a semester in another US or Canadian institution for the same tuition cost as staying at Parkside.
