Growing up in Wisconsin, I was pretty eager to get out when it came to college. However, after one semester at an out of state university, where I quickly racked up a fair amount of debt, it became clear that as an actor, it would be smarter financially to stay in state. I transferred to UW-Parkside the second half of my freshman year… The faculty at Parkside are generous and supportive… they always had my back, provided me with a myriad of opportunities, challenged my thinking, and were rooting for my success. The location between Milwaukee and Chicago is unbeatable. I was able to audition and work professionally during my schooling and we also took frequent trips to see professional productions.

Although my experience at CLC was great, I was very excited for what was next for me in my academic career when it was time to transfer. After looking into the University some more, I quickly realized that they met all of my academic needs, by offering a wide selection of both majors and minors.
