I am originally from West Virginia and Maryland, and have also lived in Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, Washington, Arkansas, and Wisconsin. I received a BS in Anthropology and a MS in (Cultural and Environmental) Resource Management from Central Washington University. I received my PhD in Environmental Dynamics from the University of Arkansas. I currently serve as Chair of the Geography and Anthropology Department, the History Department, and the Politics Philosophy and Law Department.
