Dr. Wu is a SHRM Certified Professional, Board-Certified Executive Coach, and researcher in leadership and creativity.
She has taught Leadership and HR Management to over 5,000 professionals since 2014 and was nominated for the Early Career Excellence Award in Teaching from the University of Wisconsin Parkside. Her research on leadership, ambivalence, and creativity has been published in journals such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior and the Journal of Business and Psychology. She has presented extensively at the Academy of Management and Southern Management Association (Best Paper Award Winner). She has received the Early Career Excellence Award in Research and was granted early tenure.
Dr. Wu’s consulting practice empowers individuals to define goals, broaden perspectives, and develop leadership skills. She works with leaders across industries, focusing on minority professionals navigating career transitions and work-life balance. She also coaches for outstanding programs such as Coaching for Success at Yale, Weatherhead Executive Education, and the RISE Fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School.
Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin chapter of the International Coaching Federation.
