Focus on the principles of sustainability related to workplace well-being with this joint online offering of the Sustainable Management and Health and Wellness Management graduate degree programs, in partnership with UW-Extended Campus. This program was created for adult students of all ages and backgrounds to learn specialized skills and knowledge that empowers you to make a difference in a rewarding career.

Learn the fundamentals of sustainability and well-being, behavior and development of organizations, and the principles of corporate social responsibility through four courses. This joint offering of the UW Extended Campus Sustainable Management and Health and Wellness management degree programs offers you the opportunity to apply this certificate toward the master’s degree, should you choose to enroll as a degree-seeking student in either program.

John Skalbeck
Professor of Geosciences

Dr. Skalbeck is a Professor of Geosciences and the Academic Director for the Master of Science in Sustainable Management program. He earned his B.A. in geology from Gustavus Adolphus College, M.S. in geology/geophysics from Western Washington University, and Ph.D. in hydrogeology from University of Nevada-Reno. Dr. Skalbeck spent over 10 years as a groundwater consultant specializing in soil and groundwater contamination and remediation. His current research includes modeling of gravity and magnetic data for hydrogeologic applications, wetlands characterization, and water quality of beaches.
