Breast Cancer Awareness
Officers at UWPPD purchased pink badges to show support for Breast Cancer awareness throughout the month of October. The manufacturer donates ten percent of the proceeds from all pink badge sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
National Drug Prescription Take Back Day
Officer Walkowiak assisted during National Drug Prescription Take Back Day where local residents where able to safely dispose of prescription drugs and receive free NARCAN training and additional local behavioral health resources.
