Ascension Scholars

The Ascension Scholars Program provides a path to graduation, including financial, academic, and mentorship support, in partnership with Ascension. This scholarship program gives opportunities to UW–Parkside Nursing, Radiological Sciences, and Clinical Mental Health Counseling students.

Scholarship Highlights

• Full in-state tuition and segregated fees scholarship (Certain fees are not included, e.g. textbooks, parking, nursing program fees, etc.) For more information regarding tuition and fees, please visit the Cashier’s Office.
• Opportunities for paid internships with Ascension and access to health professional mentoring.
• Guaranteed job placement with Ascension after graduation.

Scholarship Requirements

• Acceptance into the Professional Nursing Program, Radiological Sciences Program (Applied Health Sciences), or Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
• Maintain a 3.0 (undergraduate)/3.5 (graduate) GPA.
• Meet with the Ascension Scholars Program Manager monthly.
• Commit to employment with Ascension Health for one year for each scholarship year awarded.
